1、自動點膠機用途分為填充、點滴、粘接、灌注、涂層、密封，所以點膠機又稱自動灌膠機、自動涂膠機、自動打膠機、自動注膠機、自動滴膠機等，是專門對流體進行控制，并將流體點滴、涂覆、灌封于產品表面或產品內部的自動化機器。自動點膠機主要用于產品工藝中的膠水、油類以及其他液體的粘接、灌注、涂層、密封、填充、點滴、線形/弧形/圓形涂膠等。

目前單液自動點膠機已經(jīng)做得很成熟，世界主要是EFD點膠機和武藏點膠機、飛士能點膠機、IEI點膠機等，能實現(xiàn)很高的精密度，不過價格比較高。國內的自動點膠機性價比較好些。雙組份點膠機因為采用計量泵測量體積比，所以不管是進口還是國產的，價位都非常高。目前我公司開發(fā)的簡易型雙液點膠機通過調節(jié)點膠閥控制AB膠的配比，性價比非常好，但只適用于AB膠組分配比在1：3以內可調。
